These are the License Groups that are available for ZTNA users:
- General - worldwide except for China, Morocco, and Vietnam
- China
- Morocco
- Vietnam
Note: Purchase ZTNA (SDP) user licenses based on the user’s primary work location. For example, a user located in China requires a China ZTNA license and can continue to use that license when they travel to other countries. The primary work location isn't visible or configurable in the CMA.
These are the License Groups that are available for sites:
-
Group1

- For Pooled licenses, the tiers start at 100 Mbps and go up in increments of 10. They can be distributed to individual sites in increments of 10 (e.g., 20, 50, 70, and not 23 or 75).
-
Group2

- You can apply Group 2 licenses to Group 1 countries, but not vice versa

Does this apply to the Pooled Bandwidth model with a minimum of 1000Mbps? The listed "Tiers of Mbps license: 25, 50, 100, 250, 500, 1000, 2000, 3000, 5000, and 10000" appear to align with the traditional model.
Great question Charles. You are correct that the previously listed tiers were for Site licenses and not for Pooled licenses. I updated the article to include information about the tiers for Pooled licenses.
To clarify, regarding usability of a group 2 license at a group 1 site ("You can apply Group 2 licenses to Group 1 countries, but not vice versa"), does this only apply to individual site licenses or also to pool licenses?
Please let me know if this isn't accurate, but my understanding of pool licenses is that a site can be assigned to a pool license (if established) for the region in which the site's country is assigned, but not a pool license for a different region, and also that each region is locked to either group 1 or 2 (ref: https://support.catonetworks.com/hc/en-us/articles/11563278605597-Managing-Site-Bandwidth-in-Licenses#:~:text=site%20bandwidth%20licenses%3A-,License,-Group%20%2D%20Group%20of).
