Update to End of Life Announcement for API Fields Related to Events

We are delaying the schema change announced in the End of Life (EoL) announcement for certain event-related fields on May 28, 2024.  

Some of the alternative fields suggested in the announcement currently do not return data as the relevant features are not yet available. We will provide another update once these fields are fully functional. 

Most of the impacted fields will continue to operate as normal after December 1, 2024 and until further notice.  

The vpn_user_id field will be declared EoL on September 1, 2024. The alternative field is user_id. 

Once the relevant features are implemented, an updated EoL date will be provided, ensuring you have enough time to transition to the new fields.  

What is the Impact to my Account? 

There is no impact to your automation flows or account if:

• You do not use any fields

• You use the fields, but have not yet updated your automation flows to the alternative fields

If you use the fields, and have updated your automation flows with the alternative fields, the updated fields may not be available or populated with data.  

What Changes Do We Need to Make?

If you use the fields that were previously announced EoL and have made updates to your automation flows based on the alternative fields, make sure you also include the original fields. 

If you have not yet made any updates to your automation flows based on the EoL fields, no changes are required until the new EoL date is announced. 

If you are not using any fields that were previously announced EoL, no changes are required.
