New Features and Enhancements

  • New Customization Options for the Warning/Block Page: To improve troubleshooting efficiency and user experience, we are adding new customization options to the Warning/Block page. You can now show or hide the:
    • Event Reference ID - To quickly locate relevant events and streamline investigations
    • Powered by Cato Footer - To meet your branding requirements
  • VLAN ID Tags for Native Ranges: To provide better security for VLANs (802.1q), we are adding the option to tag the Socket interface Native Range as an optional setting.
    • Supported for Socket v21.1.1.18975 and higher
  • Mitigate Suspicious Targets with Cato XDR (Early Availability Feature): Add suspicious IP addresses or FQDNs to a Container directly from the story drill-down page, and then include them in your firewall rules.
    • The Add Target to Blocklist mitigation is available in the Actions menu in Security stories

  • XDR Enhancement - Group Network Stories by WAN Link and ISP: We added new grouping options for Network stories in the XDR Stories Workbench to help identify recurring issues with specific WAN links and ISPs. For example, group the stories by ISP and identify that a certain ISP has frequent disconnects across multiple sites.

  • New Localized IP Range for Bahamas: A new localized IP range (216.194.96.0/28) for the Bahamas (serviced through the Miami PoP location) is now available.
