API Integrations Overview

AI Security integrations extend visibility and control over how AI tools are used in your organization. By connecting supported AI platforms and storage services to the Cato platform, you can monitor AI activity, collect conversation logs, and retain prompt data for security analysis and compliance.

These integrations help admins gain insight into how employees interact with enterprise AI tools, detect potential data exposure, and retain AI interaction records for investigation or auditing. The integrations also enable centralized storage of prompts and AI responses generated across your organization.

Use the Integrations page to connect supported AI platforms and storage services and begin collecting AI activity data.

Benefits of AI Security Integrations

Connecting AI platforms and storage services to the Cato platform provides several advantages:

  • Visibility into AI usage – Monitor how users interact with enterprise AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Copilot, and Claude
  • Security and compliance monitoring – Retrieve conversation logs and activity data to detect potential misuse or data leakage
  • Centralized prompt storage – Store prompts and responses generated by AI applications in secure storage environments
  • Improved investigation capabilities – Use stored AI interaction data to analyze incidents and investigate suspicious behavior
  • Support for governance policies – Maintain audit records of AI usage to support regulatory and organizational compliance requirements

Use Case - Ingesting Anthropic Data for Offline Analysis

As a security admin for Company ABC, your organization recently enabled Anthropic Claude for internal use. You need to retain user interactions for offline analysis, auditing, and compliance.

You navigate to the Integrations page and configure the Anthropic Compliance API integration. After connecting the integration, the platform begins ingesting conversation logs and user activity from Claude.

This allows your security and compliance teams to:

  • Collect AI interaction data for offline analysis
  • Investigate potential data exposure or policy violations
  • Maintain records of AI usage for audit and compliance

During a security review, you identify prompts containing sensitive internal data. Because the data is available offline, you can analyze the interaction and determine whether additional controls are required.
