Azure vSockets and Microsoft Azure MANA Technology

Cato Networks is aware of Microsoft’s announcement regarding new Azure hardware that uses Microsoft Azure Network Adapter (MANA) technology for existing VM SKU families.

Cato Engineering and Cloud Infrastructure teams are working closely with Microsoft to support the MANA enhancements for Azure vSocket deployments. We are validating behavior, compatibility, and performance as Microsoft expands the rollout across Azure regions and VM families.

Based on the information currently available and the testing completed so far, Cato does not expect any impact to your environment or service availability.

Cato will continue to monitor the rollout and complete validation for support of MANA-enabled hardware. If we identify any customer impact or required action, we will share an update as soon as possible.
