Starting on June 13th, 2021, links inside email alerts and notifications from the Cato Management Application are connected to the subdomain for each account. This means that because there are different subdomains for Reseller and their Customer accounts, Reseller admins can't use the email links in alerts for their Customer accounts.
How do I know identify the subdomain in the link?
The specific subdomain for the link appears at the beginning of the URL. The following URL is for the subdomain customer_subdomain.
https://customer_subdomain.cc2.catonetworks.com/#!/1234/events-discovery?start=1623312746000&
end=1623312746000&query=%7B%22field%22:%22Id%22,%22operator%22:%22in%22,%22spec%22:%22mustBeIn%22,%22value%22:[%22mabcdEFGH%22],%22description%22:%22Id%20in%20[mabcdEFGH]%22%7D]
How does a Reseller admin use the link for a Customer account?
Reseller admins can access links for the Customer accounts by manually changing the subdomain in the link URL to the Reseller subdomain. Edit the URL and replace the Customer subdomain, with the Reseller subdomain. For example, a Reseller with the subdomain, example_consult, can edit the URL above and add this Reseller subdomain:
https://example_consult.cc2.catonetworks.com/#!/1234/events-discovery?start=1623312746000&
end=1623312746000&query=%7B%22field%22:%22Id%22,%22operator%22:%22in%22,%22spec%22:%22mustBeIn%22,%22value%22:[%22mabcdEFGH%22],%22description%22:%22Id%20in%20[mabcdEFGH]%22%7D]
Then the Reseller admins can use the edited URL to access view the alert from the customer account.
