If your organization uses proxy servers, the hosts in the network need to know through which proxies to send relevant traffic. You can configure the Cato Clients to pull a proxy configuration file (PAC file) from a specific URL.
You can define PAC files for these Cato Management Application objects:

Account
-
Groups or User Groups
-
Users

When a PAC file is configured for multiple objects, the most specific object takes precedence as shown in the following list:

Users (highest priority)
-
Groups or User Groups
-
Account (lowest priority)
For example, the user settings for a PAC file URL takes precedence over a PAC file URL configured for a group.
PAC files aren't supported for Android and Linux operating systems.

From the navigation menu, click Assets > Groups. The Groups screen opens.
For User Groups, click Access > User Groups. The User Groups screen opens.

Select a group or User Group. The General screen opens.

From the navigation menu, click Proxy Configuration.

Select Enable PAC File for SDP Clients.

Enter the PAC file URL.

Click Save.
For the supported operating systems, you can define a proxy configuration (PAC) file URL for specific SDP users. The PAC file settings for an SDP user override the global configuration for the account and for groups or User Groups.
